My approach to clinical work is eclectic and largely inspired by psychodynamic, interpersonal, feminist, & multicultural perspectives. I view each person’s lived-experience as a journey toward authenticity, more fulfilling relationships & overall goodness.
And I want ALL OF THIS GOODNESS for my clients!
Some of the ways we learn to interact & “be” in the world often come from early interactions & relational patterns with family members or friends. With this, we may fall into old unhealthy patterns that no longer feel authentic, nourishing, or joyful for us. In therapeutic sessions, I collaborate with individual clients, couples, or the family system to explore these patterns & create strategies in order for you to design your version of the most authentic & fulfilling life for yourself.
Collaboration is central to my clinical work with clients & I take a strengths-based mind-body-spirit approach in my sessions with clients. I fully believe in honoring all aspects of the individual & regularly explore what may be a useful adjunct to healing beyond the therapeutic session.
